In the Mechanical Engineering Department, we teach the principles of design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Students gain hands-on experience with modern fabrication and welding technologies.
Our programs simulate real-world working environments where students practice design, analysis, and troubleshooting on real equipment under expert guidance.
Our Courses
Courses from the Mechanical and Automotive Engineering section include:
- Welding (Level 3): A 3-term course for entry-level welding skills, examined by TVET-CDACC.
- Welding and Fabrication (Level 4): A more advanced 5-term program examined by TVET-CDACC.
- TIG or MIG Welding (Short Course): A 1-term course with an internal certificate, focusing on specific welding techniques.
- ARC & GAS Welding (Short Course): A 1-term course with an internal certificate.
Career Opportunities
Graduates are prepared for roles in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, and maintenance in industries such as construction, transportation, and energy.
